I was a bit skeptical, buying something based on a Instagram ad. However, I needed straps that would allow me to use some without periodically setting off my Apple Watch. I’ve had the Protecht straps for a couple weeks now and I can confidently they did the trick. Definitely worth the purchase.
I love my straps, they do their job. One complaint. I don’t know if I didn’t have my strap on correctly but it called 911 when I was doing some elevated push ups. It pushed my button in. Never happend before. No biggie. Thought I share since it’s not supposed to happen.
Hey Michael - As mentioned in our email, push ups with the straps will cause a buckle as they are mainly focused on providing great grip strength with wrist support secondary. Hope this help!
Love that I don’t have to take my Apple Watch off during heavy lifts. Both the straps and wraps are comfy and provide confidence/support when pushing your limits. We all know it’s a mental game.
I was shocked at how much wrist support these provide. It also does exactly what it says it will. Allow you to wear your smart watch without involuntarily pressing the buttons. I really like these and use them all the time. They do however, require a few lifting sessions to fully break in. Before they’re broken in they can be uncomfortable on the wrist bone or lower hand. Once broken in they’re very comfortable.
I needed these wraps to continue my workouts! They are great quality and perfect for me, but they are too small. Unfortunately I cant return them because I used them...
I like it can’t give me me that xtra support on top.
They are very stiff and are not comfortable
Roberto - I see you ordered small. 99% of men will find this product too small, thus uncomfortable. Would love to work with you to try a bigger size and confident your experience will be better. Sure we still take a few workouts to break in for maximum comfort, but we believe the highest quality products sometimes have a small break in period. Let us know, we’d love to help.
Using an Apple Watch Ultra with the wrap/strap combination, the band still contacts the watch crown causing workout tacking apps (e.g., TRAIN) to pause and lose data, etc.
The incorporated straps, although a good feature, need to have a slight angle for each hand (left & right) to position the loose end for maximum grip and support.
I'll keep using them, but long for better...
Perfect for my workouts. Provide all the support I need. Love the watch pep hole
Bought the combo. Straps are great. Size XL was too big on the wraps as I was right on the border in wrist measurement so keep that in mind when ordering. Exchange process was fairly easy and customer service was awesome. Only use straps and wraps for heavy lifts and both have worked out great so far.
I’m happy. Customer service is on point. 10/10 recommend.
Fantastic idea & they do leave your watch face open, but they run much smaller than expected. They are very awkward to put on and if you’re use to the full wrist compression feel of traditional wraps, these are very different and act and feel more like a brace. They are quite overpriced in comparison to the quality of the wraps. I’m glad I purchased them and tried them out, but I definitely would not buy again unless they go under a substantial redesign.
Solved a longstanding problem with protecting my watch.
The wraps protect my watch well, but the straps are too short and it is difficult to put them on.
Though I think they are pricey, they are by far the best wrist wraps for fitness trackers that I have found.
Feels good and gives me one less thing to worrry about so I can focus on my workout
I wear an Apple Watch during every workout to track weight/reps for my lifts. Having these allows me to keep my watch on for the entire workout and properly keep track of my progress.
